Introduction


The compound pendulum is a dynamic motion system in which a rigid body makes small swings around a fixed horizontal axis under the action of gravity. The complex pendulum is also called the physical pendulum. When the swing angle is small, the swing is approximately a harmonic vibration. The acceleration due to gravity can be calculated from the oscillation period.


The YGP-6222 compound pendulum experimental device uses a variety of different pendulums to measure the local gravity acceleration, combines it with a rotation sensor, and uses a computer to analyze the measurement data. Students can observe the changes in swing angle over time in real time on the software. This experiment makes full use of digital assisted teaching and meets the latest basic requirements for university physics course teaching.



Experiments

a) According to the periodic formula of the complex pendulum, find the value of g by solving a system of equations.

b) Use the conjugate property of the complex pendulum and use software to draw to find the conjugate point and then calculate the g value.

c) Use the least squares method to find the value of g.

d) Use Kate's pendulum to measure the g value.

e) Measure the g value based on the moment of inertia of the oscillation period.

f) Use video tracking method to measure g value.

The device uses a triangular base made of high-density materials, which is stable and designed with horizontal bubbles to intuitively adjust the flatness of the base to ensure experimental results.

Easy to install, you can replace different compound pendulum accessories by removing the mounting screws.
